Howard De Walden – London
Reception, meeting rooms, open plan workstations and staff amenity areas were planned into this imposing Edwardian building. A combination of timber planks and carpets along with rugs help define walkways and spaces. The colour palette is muted mainly pastel shades interspaced with deeper blues and greens.
Workstations and storage is white with natural planting used to create visual privacy, acoustic comfort and encourage a sense of wellbeing. Special re-cycling bins were designed to sit alongside the traditional low-level storage.
Open frame shelves defined spaces without completely closing off areas. Lockers were integrated into the shelving to provide personal storage for the workstation users.
